Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Staufen.Digital Invest GmbH (Staufen.Digital), on a Series A financing. Staufen.Digital has acquired shares in the Karlsruhe technology startup robodev GmbH. The agreement includes the issue of an A-1 tranche and the entry of another technology venture capital fund in the medium term. The transaction volume remains confidential.

Staufen.Digital is a management consulting company developing and implementing custom made strategies and pragmatic concepts. Robodev GmbH offers individual automation solutions that facilitate the economical production and assembly of small quantities of manufactured goods based on an intelligent modular system. The overall robodev system consists of intelligent mechatronics modules that can be arbitrarily assembled together with an innovative software control. This combination enables highly customizable automation solutions which allow both companies to bring flexible and innovative solutions to market.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by partner Holger Scheer with assistance from senior associate Christoph Breithaupt and associate Julia Rosigkeit (all corporate / private equity, Frankfurt).

Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Staufen.Digital for the first time on a growth financing.
