The partners of the Norton Rose Fulbright LLP financial services team invite you to their latest breakfast briefing.
Our breakfast briefings provide insight, practical knowledge and information, and act as a forum for sharing views and advice.
The briefings are likely to be of particular value to senior and middle management within financial institutions with responsibility for compliance, capital markets, investment management, legal, risk and trading.
At 11pm on March 29, 2019, the UK will leave the EU. If the Withdrawal Agreement is finalised a transitional period will come into effect and last until December 31, 2020. During this time free movement of labour and access to the Single Market will continue giving further time for the details of the new UK/EU relationship to be fully hammered out. However, if the Withdrawal Agreement is not finalised then firms face the so-called “cliff edge” with Single Market Access being withdrawn immediately.
- No-deal scenario: understanding the UK temporary permissions regime
- No deal scenario: what are the key issues that firms are thinking about
- Deal scenario: the latest state of play as regards the future relationship
- Deal scenario: what should firms be doing during the transitional period
The briefings count towards SRA continuing competence. There is no charge for attending.
The briefings will be recorded via webcast and are available after the briefing.
