We are very proud of the efforts we have made to date in contributing to the community through generous donation of time by our volunteers.

The primary avenue for staff volunteering nationally is through our partnership with the Australian Business & Community Network (ABCN)—a coalition of 30 national and global companies focused on working in the area of education to improve opportunities for disadvantaged students and schools.

Norton Rose Fulbright has successfully partnered with ABCN for the past five years. Through structured volunteering programs, this partnership has provided the opportunity for staff to interact and educate students within office hours. Hosting 30 to 40 volunteers within each office, volunteers participate in reading and mentoring with both primary school and high school students, with a focus on developing career direction and interview skills for high school students.

The opportunity  to work alongside ABCN provides an invaluable opportunity to improve the perspective and future prospects of young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds.
